ESG Report
ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. These three key criteria measure a company’s sustainability and societal impact. ESG factors help evaluate a company’s commitment to ecological and social responsibility, as well as good corporate governance.
In this spirit, Ferro Duo welcomes the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the underlying European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). These guidelines and standards not only contribute to a more balanced and transparent disclosure of sustainability information but also strengthen sustainability leadership and management. Although we are not directly subject to CSRD reporting requirements, we have decided to voluntarily prepare a comprehensive materiality report in accordance with the ESRS. Our goal is to largely implement the fundamental structure of the standards and to prepare ourselves as best as possible for sustainability reporting according to ESRS.
Our materiality report reflects our commitment to ecological, social, and ethical responsibility, and aligns with best practices in the industry. We aim to provide our stakeholders with clear insights into our sustainable business strategies, initiatives, and outcomes to build trust and demonstrate our responsibility towards society and the environment. Our double materiality analysis (DMA) was conducted considering the ESRS, with conscious decisions made to limit the scope of the DMA. We are closely monitoring the development of the DMA and preparing for possible full compliance.
