Per controllare il contenuto di cloruri nel cemento ed evitare malfunzionamenti nel preriscaldatore a ciclone, vengono installati dei bypass che scaricano specificamente polveri ricche di sali (principalmente cloruri e solfati alcalino-terrosi) come cosiddette polveri di bypass. Inoltre, nella polvere si accumulano metalli pesanti. Grazie a un processo brevettato, siamo in grado di purificare la polvere di bypass e di rimuovere efficacemente i metalli pesanti e i sali di metalli alcalini. Ci\u00f2 consente il riutilizzo della materia prima cemento, la conservazione delle risorse naturali e il risparmio di CO<sub>2<\/sub>. Questo fango \u00e8 costituito principalmente da materiali ferrosi fini e coke, ma contiene notevoli quantit\u00e0 di metalli pesanti come zinco, piombo e cadmio. Per evitare che queste sostanze interferenti si accumulino nell&#8217;altoforno, i fanghi contaminati non vengono riutilizzati e richiedono un oneroso costo di smaltimento in discarica. In collaborazione con BAM, siamo riusciti a sviluppare un processo brevettato per il trattamento dei fanghi di gas di altoforno. I metalli pesanti vengono rimossi e il materiale ferroso \u00e8 nuovamente disponibile per l&#8217;industria siderurgica. Grazie all&#8217;installazione e alla gestione dell&#8217;impianto nel punto di origine, lo sforzo logistico pu\u00f2 essere ridotto al minimo e i materiali riciclati possono essere reimmessi
